Supporting the Dunedin Youth Orchestra
Due to the low price of concert tickets and the minimal fee charged to the players, the Dunedin Youth Orchestra could not function without the generous support of many volunteers and local businesses.
The Committee
The committee responsible for running the DYO is mostly composed of parents of past and present members plus two nominated player's representatives. Elections for the committee occur during the annual general meeting held in May.

Sponsorship
Money provided by the sponsors pay for room hire, music hire, conductor's pay, and the two scholarships awarded each year to members of the DYO.
